Globalistion and India..

"Globalization or globalisation is an umbrella term for a complex series of economic, social, technological, cultural and political changes seen as increasing interdependence, integration and interaction among people and companies in disparate locations." - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Globalization

When I google this mean word "Globalisation" , the first search result I get is a aricle of wikipedia on Globalisation.
So, I've copied some first lines of the article and pasted here. What these lines suggest is really very interesting and I guess is a very exclusive definition of the word Globalisation.

As long as I 've come to know by following print media and tv I find that Americans were among the firsts to speak for globalisation, speaking for the opening of markets..And now when one has to see the negative aspects of globalisation I guess the Americans are its worst sufferers.

India PM while addressing in the London School of Economics forum has asked the western nations to accept the rising and the developments of the Asian countries. He also added nations to be ready for globalisation..I wished anyone there had asked him if India was ready for it.

India perhaps is the luckiest country to have benefitted from the globalisation.I say lucky because globalisation happened here at the most right times-when India had enormous skilled workforce,engineering-grads to compliment the massive process that was to start. If Y2k caused loses running into millions of dollars, India benefitted from that too.The IT revolution was happening at the right time.Governments came up with stable laws they never had come up before.

Globalisation is going to help all the developing countries having good cost-effective infrastructure, great numbers of potential work-force,stable govt. and govt. laws.Once these are assured globalisation is bound to touch the lives of people and make it better. But the point what I want to make clear is if the Americans are now suffering because of it India can too in years not far away..Globalisation can become a threat for India if it fails to accomplish its commitments in various sector especially education.

It might sound crazy if I say India needs to assure it has a good amount of unemployed-skilled-manpower in the years ahead. But actually I mean it.Only this can assure low-wages-cost that in turn will help India benefit more. And for that Indian governments needs to focus honestly into primary education and other industry ready courses.India needs to ensure good growth rate of the production of employable population.Apart from education the other sectors of concern are infrastructure, law and order..The point is to make India as investment friendly as possible.

As early as Mr. Manmohan Singh (Sonia Gandhi) understands it and start working on educaton, infrastructure, law, taxes etc it is better for this country.
